A few pics...

It's been too long since we've had a post on this thread!

So I thought I'd share a bit of exciting news from my tank...my clownfish are currently spawning! And amazingly enough, right in the front of the tank where I can see :) Unfortunately I hadn't cleaned the glass so the pictures aren't the greatest but here you go....

Here's the female, you can see her ovipositor (clearish tube sticking down from in front of her second white stripe):

Glad to see thisl post resuricated. My false percs finally had babies after waiting for 5 yrs. That has to be 1 of the coolest things I have seen in this hobby. Sadly my female perc died 6 days later. What a sad day that was.

Mine were laying eggs all the time, but they always ate them.
Those are great pictures Danielle!

where have we all gone?hopefully all still heavy into reefing.i still have my 3 tbs tanks plus a frag tank. i,ve got a little sideline of selling corals and wish i had room for more tanks. bob

Im still here, and actually Im finally getting some work done on the new tank. I should have water within a few weeks....but dont hold me to any dates :P

Atleast I have another good excuse for not being around RC much :D

Nora Elise was born on March 4th of this year. I spent a lot of time helping my wife through the latter stages of pregnancy, and have been really busy helping take care of the baby. She is starting to get inquisitive, so my wife (of all people) is the one who is motivated to get our tank set up. She is good motivation to get something done, but she is also good motivation to do nothing but play all day :D

Hope evewry one else is still around and doing well!

^ I havent been on any forums lately :( Ive documented the progress (what little has happened) of my tank/stand so far. Once I get started back up Ill be keeping RC and my fellow monkeys in the loop :D

Just ordered 30lbs of TBS rock to add some life to my 100lbs of standard rock I received from a fellow reefer. Can't wait.

Hi Everyone! Congratulations Landon!! I’m still here also. Hang out on our local forum mostly now. Some recent tank shots:

We are still here. :) Brett and I just discovered a baby cucumber in our tank!! We have the first, original cuke that we got with our rock and it is doing great. When it stretches out it is over 12 inches long! I guess they must reproduce asexually as we only have that one. Things come and go in the tank and it is fascinating to see something suddenly pop up when you have not added anything to the tank in months. We have a resurgence of hair algae, but not bad. We had some halemeda (sp) start growing this past week. Sponges come and go and we have to constantly replenish our snail population as our pistol shrimps need to eat! LOL They have their own shell dumping grounds in one front corner of the tank that we need to clear out now and then. We don't add things to the tank all that often. We try to let several months go by to see if what we added is really going to thrive before we add anything else. Compared to most of you, our tanks are rather sparse, but we really enjoy everything that we have!

I'm still here too! My tank is doing ok. I've been battling algae outbreaks and spreading fire coral. I'm still planning & saving for a larger tank. Still looking at a 4 foot 150g but I keep waffling between getting the tank locally (cheaper but 31" tall) or ordering one (shipping is SOOOO expensive but I'd have the height I want). My current tank is 24" tall and I can barely reach the bottom...I can't imagine having to reach 31 inches down.

Here's a older FTS:

Hi everyone......just wondering if anyone was still around and still have their tanks? I'd love to see pictures.

I was in Puerto Rico 2 weeks ago and saw so many fish while snorkeling...and it reminded me of my tank and such. So I decided to check in and see what's happening.

WHOA! Talk about reviving an old thread!!

I still have a tank, a 100 gallon but I have turned it into a mostly fish only with liverrock tank. Maintaining a full blow reef tank got to be too much work. However, the TBS rock still looks great compared to ordinary rock.

Hey Dave, How are you?

I saw such awesome fish, it made me think of all the old good times......
