Out of my mind spec 2

I'm out of my mind so here's the start of my fluval spec 2. Still thinking what else I'm going to do with it. Probably going to get some live sand later today and fill it up with SW.

I'm still debating whether or not I'm going to use this tank or another one. Picked up some SW and some sand.

Here we go filled with sand and saltwater. Next I'll get some live rock, then coral later on.

Added some live rock this afternoon about 1 and a half pounds. Water is barley starting to clear up.

Let it cycle and age well before adding corals.

Now that I can see I'll have to move these rocks around.

Almost midnight I'm sitting here thinking why isn't the filter pumping out water faster, I took it apart which was a pain and found that it had a little piece of sponge filter stuck in the tube. Now it's pumping out water nice and fast.

Picked up some new toys. Really want to put something in this tank already but know I have to wait until everything is cycled.

I had one set up for a year and I waited about 2 weeks before I added the clean up crew. Best investment by far was a DIY auto top off.
