Outdoor marine teaching spaces?

I hope this isn't off topic, but I'm helping a friend identify some good examples of marine science centers where they have outdoor workshops for kids and other students to learn about local ecosystems and marine life- more hands-on type spaces than permanent exhibits.

Thanks!

Thanks- great resources! I remember Mote from when I was a kid, and it looks like they have added a lot of new displays and so forth.

Almost every zoo and aquarium or natural science center in Florida has some sort of active field tour or trip with hands-on science experiences for students in a wide range of immersion levels and expertise. The environmental education field in the state is very strong and keenly interested in engaging students in this way.
