Outer orbit t5 bulb replacement.

I'm going to be replacing the T5 actinics on my 36" 2x250w with 4t5 fixture. The bulbs are 39W 2x460, 2x420. What would be the best 4 bulb combination for more fluorescence and pop? I am running 14k Phoenix bulbs for the halides but I would like to get more pop on the corals themselves and I know there has to be better bulbs around then the stock current parts.

i use wavepoint bulbs. there cheaper than all the rest and have higher par. bluewave and reefwave bulbs will give u a sick look

What about the ATI Blue Plus and ATI True Actinic?

With 150 watt 14K HQI, I use 2 Giesmann Powerchrome Actinc+ with 2 Giesemann Powerchrome AquaBlue+. I believe the Actinc+ to be the same bulb as the ATI Blue Plus. The ATI True Actinic should give you the pop you are looking for but with less par. Not too much an issue using 250 watt MH though.

What PAR readings did you get as opposed to the ATI lamps?

I like ati blue plus with uvl super actinic. 2 of each. jmo.

I was going to try 2 blue plus and 2 true actinic. They are not terribly expensive so I may try a few others in the coming months to see what I like best, hopefully those will be an improvement over the stock bulbs though.

i ran 4 gies actinic+ with my 14k pheonix...mine was 150w tho

I have the 72 in version with 250wphoenix bulbs myself. This is the T5 combo I went with.
