Outlet order?

Can someone help me make sense of the order the outlets show up in?

I thought it might have to do with the address, but right now I have some virtual outlets that show up in this order with these addresses:
(Cntl:A3)
(Cntl:A4)
(Cntl:A8)
(Cntl:A5)


Some of these represent Switches and I would like switch 1-6 to be in a row, but they are not at this point and in order to get them that way I would have to reprogram all the alarms and top off devices attached to these outlets. All I want is them to show up in the right order on the main page and when I go in to program outlets.

There's a number that you can't see or change that controls it. As outlets are deleted the next new outlet foes in that slot.

They are listed in the order in which they were created. You can create custom display pages, but this won't apply to any of the drop-down lists, etc.
