I have an Apex Lite with EB8. The outlets are not responding. Outlets that were on are staying on when supposed to go off and vice versa. Any suggestions?
Check to make sure there is not a duplicate EB8 listed. Configuration > Module Setup, then at the bottom of page there is a Apex Module List. Also, make sure that the outlets have unique names.

Sounds like there is a communication failure and the EB8 has defaulted to the Fallback settings for each outlet. First, check that the aquabus cables are fully seated, or try moving to a different port. If that does not work, you might try a restart by cycling power to the Apex. Last resort is to contact Neptune: support@neptunesys.com
I had the exact same problem a couple of weeks ago. I came home to a tank that was 73 and no lights on and a flashing green light on the eb8. I ended up have to reboot the controller and eb8. I then contacted support and they telnet-ed in and did some looking around. Unfortunately, they couldn't find anything and gave me some urls to hit in case it happens again. In any event, I smell a bug in software or faulty hardware. In response to this I wrote this so I could get a text message if it happens again.
