I'm in Dallas, so weather can get a little extreme.
I like mangroves and have been thinking of running a line from the reef into a 100 gal container in the backyard (at the sump level, but thermally heatsunk into the ground). Put a portable greenhouse on it.. sand and mangroves.
that's essentially it to make a DIY mangrove filter powered by the TX sun.
thoughts?
