I did.my first piece put of this stuff and it was really fun. I mixed some crushed coral and rock salt and table salt in. The salt make the clay become really tacky. I read up on thisclay witch is really pvc. And it's aquarium safe as long as you cure it properly. O washed off most of the Salt in sink. Then soaked on water water on stove then put in toilet tank for a day. Seems salt free now. If you used this what's your results and pics if you have them please.

Nicely done. I have seen sculpty used in tanks for decorations but not the "live rock" look that you pulled off. I bet it will look great with corraline covering it. Of course there is debate, but most agree polymer clays are fish safe.

Yeah I've read alot online from other boards, manufacturers, even ATM tanked. As long as cured properly it seem to be just fine. The manufacturer Says it not food safe. Not because its toxic, but its porosity. Which is great for us.

That's really cool... was looking for an idea like this to make magnetic feature(s) to attach small frags to the back glass of my aquarium... never thought of Sculpey Clay though!

Nice, looks like it can be made into very interesting shapes. What about cost? Is it a viable alternative to live rock? Could it possibly be used to cement large pieces of live rock together?

I to thought about magnets. And this material is drillable when cured. Or add to clay before balding. I paid $5.50 for 1 lb at wall mart. Hobby lobby sells different colors as well. You can definately get creative with this for a custom piece. Frag rock , plugs, etc. Perfect for a nano or pico!
