Yes I do. I'd prefer if the image is very clean, 640 x 480, and I'd need to know your name for photo credit. If this is something you've kept and observed, be sure to send along your personal experience for the comment section.
I noticed it last night, I posted over at ThePiratesReef.com and they said it's a Sipunculan worm and harmless but I like to get a second opinion.. There's another photo at this Reef Gallery
Thank you so much for this thread! I have two things in my tank that I have been trying to identify for months and I found out what they are from your link! I will always check here first when trying to identify something new (it will save me a lot of hours searching on the web).
ajwatson, I'm glad you finally found your answer. My website is packed with useful information, and you may find the "Hidden Treasure" page the easiest to navigate as it sorts topics by category.
That is a very funny thread I remember reading years ago. Looks like the title was edited, and I didn't see any images on Page 1. I'd of course need permission to use a picture. And then what section would it fit under?
Marc - this may have been mentioned, but I can't search....
There's no section on worms? I have what appears to be a very slow moving spiral shaped calcified shell worm. When I say slow moving, I mean every 2-3 days it turns about 15 degrees in the circle....
I think the first section of the ID page is dedicated to worms, or things that crawl. The one you've mentioned sounds like it might be a vermetid. You say it is turning, but do you perhaps mean its spiral is gaining a new section so that the opening appears in a new area?
I'll grab a picture. It's not spiraled yet - MUCH bigger than either a vermetid or Sirorbid. Body almost could be mistaken for an acan head... almost....
