over flow problem

Hi all , I just upgraded my 120 gallon for more flow I have blueline pump 40 x with 1 " return lines and i have only 1 overflow chamber so I took both 1" drains in the overflow chamber to get more drainage but now iam have a suction noise what can i do to make it quiet any help would be great thanks.
