Yea, I still think it was a chalice. Do you notice those little white pyrimid snails on the bottom of it? You don't have any clams do you??

Matt, the chalice on sexy corals website is SC's Blue Melon.

VR, I'd be interested in a small frag of that. I have to see you anyway, hopefully this weekend, and could probably frag off another small piece of the blue melon if you're intrested.

just so you both its not quite as purple in my tank but it is the same none the less. when i upgraded to a new tank my lighting was also upgraded and my sand bed is now 8 inches closer to the lights. i will post a pic if you like.

Doesn't matter to me. I keep most of my chalices up pretty close to the lights too. While not really as much color, they tend to grow faster.
