Over spent on return pump saved on ATO

I needed a more reliable return pump that actually ran if power was lost. Anyway wasn't planning on getting ecotech but hey it was used. So instead of buying jbj,smart ATO,tunze etc. I just did a with gravity auto top off. I need a reservoir for about 9 gallons for a two week period. I used a Rubbermaid tote. Hold 18 would never put that much. But I loose about a gallon below the dispenser so I have room. It was a simple float and some plumbing. I got 2 new drill bits. Total was 45 bucks. So far it's working
