overflow box

I'm having a weird problem. I installed my over flow box, and it was working fine for like 3 weeks, but now the flow slow down, and the water raises almost to the top of the tank, way above the over flow. I checked and is not clogged
any suggestions?

What type of overflow do you have? U-tube type or CPR type?
And do you have a sponge filter on it?? Can you see throgh your plumbing system. Might be something cloged in there.

I have a cpr type, no sponges, yes I can see and I dont see anything clogging it.

Got snails? I have to fish snails out of my plumbing occasionally. Like twice the past week.

Are you using an Aqua Lifter conneted to the vent fitting at the top of the U-bend in the overflow? They will trap bubbles and eventually break the siphon. You can also use a siphon from the vent to a sump if you have one but the Aqua Lifter is more reliable.
