Overflow & Bulkhead Plumbing

Hi I have a 30g tank that I drilled a 1.5in hole for a 3/4 in. bulkhead. I was wondering what the best way would be to plumb this.

thanks

tagging along -- hey when you had it drilled, does the thickness of the glass / acrylic matter to what bulkhead you get? or does the 3/4 in. describe the diameter? what's the 1.5 in?

I'm a fan of bean animals design for an extremely quiet, failsafe return. The only downside to it being fail safe is that you have to drill 3 holes for 3 separate return but after the initial labor is done it's well worth it.

jonnybravo22,
The hole that was drilled into the glass (which can be from 3/8-1/2 thick) has to be 1.5 in diameter to fit a bulkhead that will receive 3/4" plumbing either via slip joint or threaded pipe.
