overflow silencer and tropic eden reefflakes

How well does the overflow silencer you guys sell work? http://premiumaquatics.com/aquatic-supplies/GEO-SP2.html
I am setting up a new tank and deciding between this or a durso standpipe.

Also, do you still have reeflakes available?

We do have plenty of reefflakes available.

Those standpipes do work well, I use on myself. I"ve used Durso's over the years too, and they've always been fine for me too.
