overflow ?

I have a bunch of green hairy algae in my overflow, is this a concern? I really cant reach to well back there do to the tank being against the wall. The rest of the main tank is fine, just a little brown algae on the glass from time to time.

In your overflow --not a concern. But if you are running dursos make sure it doesn't start to plug the drain holes ect. I also find that alage will grow on the inside of the overflow teeth. This can restrict the drain flow also.
