overstocked?

background: 28gal bowfront reef.
Current fish:
red spotted hawkfish (2")
sailfin tang (small) (2")
ocellaris clownfish x2 (1.5")

I'm thinking of adding two honey red talbot damselfish to the mix. Everyone is getting along fine now but I'm looking for some more action.

I've read that the damsel can be aggressive but at a larger size. I do plan on upgrading to a 65-75gal tank within a year hopefully...

Yes you are overstocked, the tang should not be in a 28G tank. Tangs create alot of waste, and add alot to a bio load. They also need alot of swimming room regardless of their actual size. I would remove the tang, then you could probably add 2 or 3 small fish.

I think you are okie as long you are on top of your WC.

Get rid of the tang. Just keep the clowns and the hawkfish. I think that is a good stock level.
