My male still chases my female at feeding time after nearly a year. But not too bad as the food is all over, not just at one clip. I'm sure we'd all love to see a little video of yours eating (hint, hint). :crazy1:
Well at least the first attempt with the two clips has been a little successful. I put a fresh piece of Rogger's on both clips. The female didn't see the new clip for a while (the male was super busy with his clip) but eventually figured it out. Before she had spotted it I took a video of the aggression though this is mild compared to the usual chases, which typically encompass all 4ft of the tank.
After this the female eventually drifted over to the other clip and has ben chomping away. I've got a few pictures but Aperture is being finicky so let me try and get those cleaned up and then I'll share!

my OSFF decided it liked my elegance coral all of a sudden and literally ate off all the tentacles in a very short time, I had to give the elegance to a friend in hopes that it could recover... just something to watch out for if you have an elegance!

Is it possible the elegence was already compromised? Mine seem to focus on nipping things that are less than totally healthy. Could just be a mistaken impression.
I would then have to hang my head in shame, as I've let the bubble algae become the decor. :-(
I'm about to order their new tank as our 210g is finally up and cycling. I'm thinking about contacting ATM because it's a little bit of an unusual shape.
But I realize proof is in the pudding, so this is a picture of her feeding ring I took to show someone. You can see her fatty little cigar-shaped self in there.
This is an ooooooooold thread that I never updated. My girl lasted 6 years and it's my fault she passed. Great fish. Does anyone know how people are doing with them now?
I still have a lone female that I've had for at least 4 years. She's tough as nails and eats everything. I've tried introducing a male and a female with her and she hasn't taken kindly to the newcomers. I hope all my fishy friends are well. :wavehand:
