I didn't think this fit well in any of the threads so move it if you feel it more appropriate some where else...
So I bought some oysters from a sea food market, (fresh gulf oysters) And they were on ice nice and cold. I am going to use them as food for my puffer. But since they are probably still alive I was going to put them into my sump in the mean time. They can clean or something. my question is I'm drip aclimating them over but with the change in temp and them being on ice for a couple of days. What do you think are the chances of them making it? Or am I just waisting my time and I should bag them and stick em in the freezer.

Ummm, If they are from the gulf (warm) and been in Ice for many days, I doubt they are still alive. But I may be wrong.

Nu2SW, You are wrong. ;) LOL

I buy these from time to time to feed. My kid likes to put them in his little tank. I do not aclimate them at all and about 90% make it for a month or so. You can get pyramid sails from them though!!!!
