Ozonier questions * Your Help is Greatly Appreciated *

I am getting a red sea aquazone deluxe ozonier with controller / ORP Probe, only 50mg/hr.

I have 180 gal tank, with lot of corals and fishes, I am currently running 2 ASM skimmers.

- ASM skimmer safe for ozonier ?

- Should I connect the ozonier into both skimmer using a "T" valve ?
** From the ozonier I would "T" off going into both skimmer air tube, SHOULD I use two more "T" valves going into the skimmer airtube ?

- Should I use air pump to pump air into the ozonier and skimmers, or should I just leave the skimmers to pull the air thru the ozonier itself ?

- What level should I set it to or should I set it at max since it's only 50mg/hr and my tank is 180 gal ?

- Ozon safe tubing and "T" valve, can I get it from HomeDepot ?

As you see, I am new at this and any help or suggestion would greatly appreciated.

Yes the ASM is safe to run ozone.

But to run it through a skimmer youll need some type of air pump.

Luft pump to run ozone through ASM

Air Pump->Dryer->Ozone Generator->Skimmer

Its very easy to install once u get the pump since they come with instructions.

As long as the ASM's are made out of cell cast acrylic. Everything else will slowly deterioriate from the oxidizing effects of ozone, or so I've been told.

I wouldn't run ozone through an asm. They are brittle and thin so they wil eventually get extremely brittle with ozone.

BTW- ozotech are much more reliable than the red sea

It was dumping way too much ozone in my house for me to be happy about running through my G4x.

So I bought the crappy coralife ozone reactor... did about
$2.78 worth of mods, then plumbed the outlets to a phosban reactor full of carbon... which required a $2.28 mod to setup. Altogether I was out around $70, but now how a ozone free home.
