P.E.A. Neon Orange Hammer

Not if filters are used at time of shot as in the colored gel sheets. Like I've stated, we do not walk into stores and see coral at this saturation, so that alone should keep you from falling for these tricks.

I'm going to a store today that has a beautiful orange hammer in their display. Not quite as orange as the originial photo that started this thread, but very orange.

The reason I keep falling for these tricks is because I know it exists. We just need companies who will be honest in their representation of the pieces. I have a small list of companies I will never buy from again because of photo manipulation.

Ive never seen a super bright orange BRANCHING hammer tho, they are always brownish under white and orange under blues. Wall hammers have more vivid coloring but dont last long in tanks

I should have my Orange Branching hammer on the 9th . I Snagged it on Cherry Corals Live Auction sale . I know the coloring will not be to perfection of what it is . But I have spoke to many people about Cherrys before I did my purchases. And they all say the pics are pretty good to what the coral will be .

I've ordered several from Cherry and their pieces come out exactly the same in my tank as theirs. Maybe a litttttle less bright. I've been looking at that same frag you bought! post pictures when you get it! I thought Cherry was down from the weird webpage layout

The site is down .. Only because they sold All 800 corals The other night in the auction. So the stock is ( 0 ) . They get a big order in next week I believe they said.

That looks just like my orange branching. I've noticed the polyps on the orange are smaller than my other branching hammers.

I have located a Aussie Orange wall hammer . It has been in the same location for 6 months . And super bright. puts that little guy to shame . I'm just trying to lower my Phosphates just a tic more before I go pick it up. I know how sensitive they are . SO I want my params. spot on before it goes in .

Elite corals has a really bright orange wall hammer. Wish i knew about cherry corals sale, they had yellow octospawn in stock go figure

Ive seen Elites in person. Its more Goldish/Tan then Orange.
Yea. I picked up 90 % of all the Octo they sold that Night .:eek2:
just one of a few

Well... turns out the frag I got from PEA is slightly legit....

I ordered one of those cheap LED fixtures on ebay to play with....

When I dial the blue channel all the way up, and turn off the whites completely so that only the royal blue leds UV's are on the branching hammer is pretty... its bright orange...

NOT at all the yellow and green I wanted... and I have tried every combination of lighting adjustment I have..

I can get two specific colors... a pale bright green with the whites on and a bright orange with only the blues...

I tried to snag a picture of it but i do not have a good camera and my iPhone does not take good pics under that type of lighting...

So i went and picked up that gem ...
Here is a terrible phone pic.
