p -trap

My bathroom sink drain is very short, and I have no option but to install the ro drain into the top of the p trap. Is this ok, or just bad buisness

it would say it would be ok as long as you stay as
highas you can. All a p-trap is for to trap water so you don't get sewer gas. When in stalled mine i put on a 45 degree angle so the water in the sink will not run into the RO drain. like a TY

Did you use a saddle valve? IF not, how did you connect it to the drain?

no i nvr. I took apart drilled a hole and siliconed ini ty-rapped the pipe entering the drilled hole and stand pipe(the pipe that enter the p-trap) then silicon

What does Ty stand for?

Tee y its a type of fitting instead of a tee. Looks like a y more than a tee.
