pacific coast anemone

Maybe and No.

Our Pacific coast anemones need cool water to do well. If you have a chiller/refrigeration unit that will keep your tank below 70 degrees most of the time, they will do fine.

Clownfish host anemones are tropical and don't live on our coast. They are found mostly in the South Pacific. (don't know why they call it that since the "South Pacific" technically would be Antarctica)

The Pacific Ocean is so big they feel the need to break it down into northern and southern portions, splitting it along the equator. :)

I was just kind of making a joke, but all of what most people consider the "South Pacific" is actually in between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn, which would make it the middle, equatorial or tropical Pacific.

I know. I decided to "see" your joke and "raise" you a satire. Since my lesson wasn't actually a good representation of facts, it was meant in jest. I'm bad at humor but I'm GREAT at awkward irony. :lolspin:

If it's any consolation, I always knew you were smart.
