No pun intended

Don't you have an RO/DI unit? Wouldn't that take care of that?

LMAO ...

do you think that i have ro/di!? No way, i cant afford that crap!

i just use my tap water with anit-chlorine stuff.... works fine, the phos is very very low, so i am fine

It's things like this that make me want to have an RO unit no matter how good the tap water tests on a given day. It's just nice to have control of the most important part of the setup IMO. Plus the last time I tested the tap it actually had some ammonia in it!

If you use tap water from a municipality you need to ask yourself how good is all the crap they put in it such as floride, clorine, etc. that is supposed to be good for you but who knows how good it will be for the tank

my tank and corals are beautiful... not unwanted algae, excet for beginning diatoms. all my tanks are extremely healthy.

that is the only questioning that i need to do

Can't afford it? You spent SO much on your tank and you can't spend the $75 for the unit that Tom was selling?

I just don't get it.

my tank is fine the way it is..... when i have a problem, i will buy one.

$$75 is a lot when you make like 50 or less a week........ take out 20 for lunch at school and then gas soon.

i have my own reef keeping theory, it works for me. my tank is healthy, and most important, i am very happy with it.

for now i think i am good

haven't heard a word about it Matt, We drink RO water from the fridge straight from my Ro/DI unit. :D
