Whats the best type of paint to use to cover the back of your tank. I have a 120 that I used oil base black paint.
I now have a 180 that I want to paint. It's going to be a blue backgound.

Krylon Fusion

I used their black and have seen a few other tanks done in Patriotic Blue and Blue Hyacinth. Personally, I liked the Patriotic Blue better than Hyacinth, but I prefer it darker.

i just used the store brand ace hardware spray paint on the back of my tank, painted black and it came out perfect. i believe any standard type spray paint will do the job since the back of the tank doesn't normally get bothered. unless your wall has hands

My favorite color for the back part of the tank is purple corraline : ) This way you don't have to fool with the paint in case you want to view that side one day. But you have to earn this purple with time.

Pretty much any kind of spray paint will work on it. If you to protect it afterward you can still put that crappy paper over it. Remember more light coats are ALWAYS better than just one heavy coats. runs in your paint jobs are never good. Good luck with it.
