Painting A Tank

Anyone have a article or tips on painting the back of a tank. It is in place and stocked. It is in the corner so I have some room.

I was thinking spraying Krylon Fusion on a rag and whipping it on.

I am an awful painter.

Help me.

:)

Get yourself a foam roller, a paint tray and acrylic paint in your choice of color. Roll on the first coat spairingly to avoid drips. Let that dry for however long the paint can suggests and add another coat. It may take several coats of paint to get it a deep enough color. Very important to let each layer dry thoroughly before adding another layer.

Another choice is to get a piece of auto glass film tinted black. Mist the glass with Windex before installing, it makes it easier to get the bubbles worked out.

if you have enough room to get back there and spray....handsdown krylon fusion. it goes on so nice and its so easy. impossible to mess up.

I think I would be careful using windex on the outside of an up and running tank (ammonia). I used window tint on a freshwater tank, but I used baby shampoo and water in a spray bottle, then smoothed it out with a squeegee. It looked really good. I wish I could find the picture. Just my 2 cents.
