Well I have had the streams up and running for about a week now and am quite impressed with them. I just wish I had done it sooner and had the money to go with the bigger/controllable streams. I do not think that the two 6060s are too much for the 120 at all; it was a little hard trying to place the clam, but other than that all is good. I just wish I had a little more flow in the back center, but I know if I chance the streams around and/or the return I can get what I need. Who knows I may end up getting the magnets.
The polyp extention I am getting out of corals now is amazing. The corals were in a 'temp' tank while the main tank was broken down for about 6 weeks, and everything started going down hill towards the end. However, even when they were in the main tank before when I had 5 MJ 1200s and my mag 12 on return I got little to no polpy extention from some corals.
Below is a picture of my light blue mille, don't mind the colors because as I said everything went down hill in the temp tank, but notice the polyp extention.
This picture is when I first got the coral. Normally the polyps didn't even come out that much during the day, but they would come out at night
This is the second picture of the coral in the middle of the day. Notice the polyps arounde the base of the coral. Each day I look at the coral its seems like more and more polyps are coming out and coming out further and further!
