Pair pink skunk clowns?

My exp. and understanding of clowns is that skunks are the most passive. I attempted to pair two pink skunks. The first was just under 2". A month later I got a second but smaller. the orignal has grown rapidly since the new addition but constantly pushes the newbie out of the anemone, occacsionally nipping. Its been about 1 month since the second addition.

I've read its normal for the female to be a punk for a period of time, but beginning to doubt it will stop. After researching I learned the male will have orange on the tail. is this true? Both othe mine have the faint line on their tails.

Should I pull one of them out or wait it out longer?

Yes "she" has. I've been thinking it might be easier on them if I get a second anemone. But thats a whole other problem.... Don't want another BTA (loose bubbles and color), LTA's and carpets are usually too big, and sebae's are bleached, and every leads me to believe ritteris are DOA and too big! Not alot of options out there......

has the 'female' clown had the 'nem its entire life in your tank?

I've found that I can usually add a smaller clown to the mix with only a bit of initial sparring, but I've never tried it with a clown already hosting an anemone. You might try carefully removing that anemone for a while and then re-introducing the clowns.

I bought a nice, very green LTA in hopes this will make the peace. I'll try to remember to log in and update this thread for others.

Anyone have an idea of at what size (in inches) PS clowns begin to mature?

Update:
My LTA is stunning  Unfortunately neither PS clown has discovered the new nem. I think I will try luring them over with food tomorrow. I am preemptively expecting the "female" to claim both. However, "she" can't be in two places at once

Update: The skunks seemed to have settle down and only squabble at night when the BTA closes up. The LTA has remained untouched :beachbum:

I have a pair of pink skunks and a pair of per's in seperate tnanks and the behavior is the same the male is submissive and usually just hangs right outside the anemone, once and a while as mentioned above will sleep under or sneak in for a quick back rub before getting chased out. Check thenm about an hour after the lights go out with a flashlight.
