Hello,
I have a clownfish that's a few years old that battled an injury for a while about a month or two ago. I had a high salinity problem because of some bad refractometer readings (cheap Amazon version worked terribly for me). Problem was solved but the clown kept getting huge bubbles on its chin, then the bubble would pop, then another would form a few days later (and kept repeating). Frankly, I have no idea how it survived. In any event, it did but now it looks as if its bottom lip is almost all gone where the repeated injury happened. My question is around bringing in another clown to pair them. I know I'd get one smaller, but I'm worried the whole establishment of dominance issue may be compromised by the fact that this one has the injury.
Thoughts?
