Pairing black and standard clown

Recovering Detritophobe
Hello,

Well, I guess the first question is: Is the black clown from ORA percula or ocellaris? I have heard ocellaris but wanted to be sure.

That would make the second question: If I get a standard color variation of the same species can I keep it in a 37g with the black clown (assuming it is a smaller non-female)?

Some background in case anyone cares:
Originally I had an orange clown, and I introduced the smaller black clown. The established clown absolutly tore it apart, took his whole tail off, etc. This made me assume that my established one before was a percula and would not take to the ocellaris. I removed the orange one, and the black one has fully recovered and established since then (its been maybe 6 months). So now I'm introducing a smaller orange ocellaris.

I turned off the lights when I introduced it to avoid any unnecessary aggression. They are swimming together and the black one is definantly checking it out, and as of now everything seems fine.
