Pairing False Percs

Ok, I bout a false perc about a week ago from a LFS, little guy, maybe in inch long. I currently have him in a nano with a BTA.

I am upgrading to a 50 gallon this week, so was wondering what would be the best method to go about pairing him.

Should i just buy one the same size and put them into the new tank at the same time?

I'd buy a smaller one, if you can, just to try to reduce the odds of having a fatal dominance confrontation as much as possible.

Hmm I'll try that but I don't think its possible to get a smaller one, it's pretty small.

get a larger one then DO NOT BUY ONE THAT IS THE SAME SIZE i cant stress that enough

they will fight to decide who is female and with one being smaller it will be easy to decide dominance

buy one the same size and you will most likely end up with two fish that want to be females

the size difference is very important in the aquariums not so much in the wild
