pairing Ocellaris clownfish

I recently bought a bonded pair of snowflake clownfish from Diver's Den. The female, or larger of the two, unfortunately died in QT. I would like to get another ocellaris clownfish, so that I could have a pair again. The surviving clownfish I have is a little under 2 inches.

I've done some reading on pairing clownfish and fee like I have a general understanding of how everything works, but I still have a few questions.

I was wondering at what size is an ocellaris clownfish considered juvenile?

What would be the best way for me to go about pairing my clownfish? I would like to get buy another clownfish for pairing next week.

The other clownfish would be alone for 8 weeks, if I buy the other next week. Would he start turning female in that amount of time?

Right now, Diver's Den has a single 2" snowflake clownfish that I could get.

Right now, most of the ocellaris my LFS has are all larger and more mature fish, 3-3 1/2". Should I get a single one of these, assuming that it is female?

I appreciate any and all advice. :)

I think that's what I'm going to do. After some calling around, I found a not so local fish store that has a 9 month old 1" black phantom ocellaris.

did you call to let them know it died? if you are within the 14 day guarantee, they will replace it. sometimes, you can even go a few days over and they will still send you a replacement. great customer service!
