I think i know the answer to this question before i ask it ...... I have an established female in my 265 . she's about 4 inches total very healthy. had the oppertunity to get a male... issue is he's slightly smaller but healthy as well.
When i put the male in the display, the female went right after him. I had the chance to pull him out and he is now in the tank in a clear container he looks ok. but I'm affraid to let him back out. do you think the smaller fish will turn back to female and will the first female ever let a smaller male into her tank. i had two females a while back and they got along fine... one ended up jumping and i've been trying to match them back up..... Thanks Ray
