I had three Yellowtail Damsels... Yep! had three. i came home from work the other night and the smallest had really beat the middle sized of the three up really bad, i sepparated him from the other two in a kind of speciman container but still in the main tank. i had hoped he would get better but alas his light burned out yesterday, and thats the funny thing. the three have allways gotten along like typical damsels but never any bad blood between the three. well long story short, the smallest and the largest are really lovin it up! the bigger (i assume the female) will run and hide in her cave and wait for the smaller one and act as if she wants him to stay with her. if he attemts to leave she goes after him and gives him a nudge. he will turn cross ways in front of her blow him self up really big. then they kinda chase one another around in a loose plattern then go back to the cave. once there they both defend the cave as if it was a nest. oh as far as i could tell the largest had nothing to do with the distruction of the medium sized fish. are they tring to spawn? has anyone had experience with this kinda thing? HELP PLEASE! THANKS IN ADVANCE!
