pajama in trouble

could someone give me an idea of what is ailing my pajama? his top fin bones are showing

Was there anything on his fins when this first showed up?

anything? like what? white fuzzy stuff? - no - all I noticed was his scale(s) in front of the dorsel was white and it spread to the fin and is sort of eating away to the point where I can see the bones (top part of fin) - I don't have a better picture until this pm - thanks
