A colony of green mushrooms I've had for almost a year now has been looking pale and sickly for a couple months now. They only expand about half as far as they used to. Granted, they've been through hell lately, I did a tank swap 3 weeks ago, but they were already looking pale before that. Then had diano algae out break and had to black out the tank for a couple days. They've on the bottome of the tank, but where they can get direct light. Tank parameters are as follows.
50 gal Long (Same as 55 only 1" shorter)
2x55W PC lights 10,000k
1x32W NO Actinic
CA = maintained 400 to 450
Kh = 120
PH = 8.4
Ammonia = 0
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate = 0
Phosphate = 0
Though I'm a little suspicious of my Nitrate test kit right now, it's getting a bit old and this system has always run about 5ppm Nitrate untill the last couple months. My finger leathers, blue mushrooms, and frogspawn are all doing great right now.
What can I do to help these guys recover and color up again?
Thanks.
Phil
