PALE/STN sps's with MH lighting?

the reason for this post is i have pale/stn sps's with LED lighting in a very stable reef with solid parameters. most, if not all, posts i read seem to have one thing in common with pale/stn sps's: led lighting. my last reef used MH/PC and i never lost a single sps in seven years. the color and growth was not great, but never death. my new tank has better flow and nutrient control and more stable ph and alk, but much less success with sps's. the only sps that is doing well is a pink birdnest....the number of sps's i've lost could have easily paid for a new high end MH/t5 light. so before i reload with sps's, i'm thinking of dumping my leds?

Test the PAR for your LEDs, also make sure that you are still light acclimating them.

Unfortunately, LED fixtures are still work in progress. Well, at least for the somewhat affordable ones. If you buy the big dollar ones, you generally do not have the same issues. You just don't have much money left over!

Your electric bill also goes down and you do not have to buy bulbs anymore...
