Hey how's it going everyone? I've just recently moved to Palm Coast from orlando and i bought my first SW fish since being up here, i heard about a place called Pawriffic Pets. Checked it out, they had a few nice fish. Well they had a female Swallowtail Angel which had been eating and looked gorgeous. I proceeded to purchase the fish and brought it straight home and let it float and went back out to get lunch. I came back and the fish was dead. Not even out of the bag yet and the store air still in it. The fish had swam past an anemone while the LFS guy was trying to catch it, he swore it didnt touch. I can't imagine what else could've happened. I called them this morning as they were closed already. And flat out told me it was my loss and they weren't going to do anything about it. I've been in the hobby for over 10yrs and never have i had a problem with a store. and never have i had a fish not make it atleast into the tank. I even would've settled for 50% but they gave me nothing and proceeded to hang up on me. This was my horrible experience with this store and i wanted to share as a forewarning to anyone else that may decide to go there.
