Palys have umbrella like skirt?

What would cause my rainbow palys to have a long skirt thats hanging downwards similar to an umbrella? All my other palys/zoas are doing good. Any ideas?

Mine are doing the same thing. I was thinking it might have to do with too much flow?

I had the same problem with some PE and I moved them to a different area in the tank and they shot right back up

Well first of all, PEs are not palys they are zoas, but regardless - all zoas and palys display this behavior from time to time. If its been going on for a long time, then you might try relocating them to a different area.
