Panther Grouper not eating

I have a panther grouper that is a couple of years old and measures about 11 inches long. He recently stopped eating and is refusing all food. I see nothing else wrong with it except for a bit of haze over one of its eyes. It has been over a week and he is spending more and more time resting on the bottom. When it swims, it swims normally.

I have tried all its usual treats and even tried to hand feed it without success. It has always had a voracious appetite. All other fish in the tank appear and are acting normally.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

It is difficult to make a remote determination why a fish isn't eating well if that is the only real symptom it is showing. Is the fish's respiration rate normal? Here is a link to an article I wrote about chronic anorexia in fishes:

Thanks for the advice Jay.

I finally got it to eat. It was in an easy part of the tank to reach, so I dangled part of a large silverside in front of its mouth. It finally could not help but gulp it down. I did not attempt a second piece today, but will try again tomorrow or the next day.
