Hey guys,

just wanted to get your take on what size tank YOU think is neccessary to keep an adult pather grouper?

also, if you think they can be kept happily with some corals, and some tank mates that it cannot eat, ie; some trigger species, volitans, etc..

not 100% on tank size but they should be fine with coral if you have very good filtation and make sure it can't knock them over

Scroll down. Also, what he's holding is not the biggest one I've seen in an aquarium. I saw some in Scotland that were more than 2 feet long. I'll look around on my hard drive and see if I can find my (bad) pics of them.

They aren't the most active of fish, but you would want room for them to be able to turn around. I would say 8' long x 3' wide x 2' tall, which is 360 gallons.
