Here was mine. He was the last to survive a nasty Ich outbreak that claimed my entire 125. He was a really fighter, lasting longer then even a domino damsel. They are perhaps the hardiest of all fish. He always eat super good. And always followed you around the tank begging for food. He is missed, as all of those fish are.

A tad over a month. Was about 3" when purchased, didn't notice a size increase.

Those things get huge. My lfs has one that is around 18".
Hopefully someone posts a biggin.

Curious as to what size tanks you have???

I love the Panther Grouper, but Bob Fenner talked me out of it given my 200gallon tank capacity. Apparently, they like to bolt from one end of the tank to the other making waves... it was recommended to me 300g+ when they are about 5yrs old.
