PAR meter anyone???

Does anybody know if the club has access to a par meter? Just curious what's going on in my tank. Any help is appreciated!

There is only 1 person that has one. I forgot who. I think our club should invest into one.

I would think it would be a good investment. BAR has one that bounces around but it's usually pretty deep in the east or South Bay

Well now we all are curious what your numbers were and what fixture! Playing with a par meter can be an eye opener!

It's a lumentek 180 from reef radiance. Fixture is about a foot off the water and was getting around 360 about 6" under water on top of my taller rock piles. This was at 60% whites and blues. I was pretty impressed for a 300 dollar fully controllable fixture. Ordered another one for the other side of my 75 gallon. I was skeptical of the fixture, but for 300 I figured it was worth a shot and I'm glad I did.

I'm planning on mapping the 75 once it's set up. I will post that info once it's complete.
