Par meter

Google search Apogee and you will find some. They are expensive though. I have read that Apogee is a good brand (I don't have one).

There was one on the for sale forums this morning for 2 hours before it was sold. $225. Ugh!

You can also build one if you are electrical. I found some DIY instructions. For that, you only have to buy a sensor which is around $100.

Ask, I know someone on this forum has one that I'm sure they will let you borrow. I might be in need of one soon with my new cube, but I'm sure I have more than enough light to kick start a elephant.

OK, I am still looking, but I found this article on Apogee's site

This paragraph is what caught my eye
"Hobbyists with access to a multimeter have even less expensive options. Apogee Instruments sells quantum sensors that connect to a multimeter capable of measuring in the microVolt range. One of the units is designed for under water use. This means the sensor can be submerged and light levels in the tank continually monitored."

The Quantum Sensor they are talking about is this one...

If I find something more, I will post. I thought for sure I saw something more, but can't find it.
