anyone know someone or someplace that has a par meter I can borrow or rent? I need one for a school experiment related to reefing , used by myself for one day tops around the 10th of Oct. Misewell measure my main tank while I'm at it. Thanks

If the club doesn't already have one for member's use then I think that would make a good purchase. Can any of the board speak up?

I think it's been talked about before and there's too many problems with a club owned piece of electronic equipment like a par meter. Considering the cost and that it's very easily broken or knocked out of calibration its not worth the risk. If someone borrows it and drops it in a bucket of water who has to spend in excess of 3-400 dollars for a new one?

Side note there is a place online that rents them. If you google par meter rental it comes up with the company. May be a few of them but not sure.

Cool thanks for the info and I understand completely about the liability.

Anyone know if Aquaworld would have one for rent? I'll call them friday if all else fails.
