I was not planning on doing any Paypal.

the best way would be to paper clip your name on to the money you donate in case we never get enough and then you would get your money back, or we have a list of the donaters.

followup... The group buy kinda died out, so I decided to get a par meter for myself. Placed the order tonight. If anyone is interested in taking some measurements, we can arrange something via PMs. Should be a cool toy to play around with to figure out heights for the lights and the like.

Cool! Let us know how it works for you. Are you going to go ultra reefgeek and make a big grid FTS that shows the PAR levels and stuff?

I love those geeky grid things. Honestly, I like most geeky things...

Considering I record all kinds of notes about everything else, I probably won't be able to resist doing it. I also ordered some new reflectors and I wanted to do a before and after grid, but there is a 3 week lead time on the PAR meters and i'm not sure I will be able to hold off that long installing the new lighting.
