It would have to depend on what you are keeping plus how you are going to scape your tank.
I use one on my 5.5 and I have zoas on both side walls and I feel like I am on the edge of a single light source.
I would think 2 would give you what you needed or maybe a DIY if you have some skills.

Yes you can angle them. In fact it makes a very cool affect. What I like about these lights is that you can add or delete them at anytime. You can mount them in just about any housing you want. I went with the Ikea paper shades and the wife LOVEs it. Brings the tank into the room instead of strange shaped or box shaped lights that you only see on a tank. Most the time you end up building/buying a canapé to hide the lights you spend hundreds of dollars on. But with these lights you can just use a normal lamp and screw it in. Makes for a clean look. I think you’ll find how high you place the light is the deciding factor on how you’ll place your corals.
I have been toying with the idea of building 24x24x24 with Aquaroche tower. Then light it up at an angle on one side for sps place a stunner over the top to light up the other side and mount non photo corals on the opposing side. The only thing keeping me from doing this would be the wife saying “5 tanks is not enoff.?!”.
The resounding answer comes from reefcentral addicts “come on this tank is nothing like the others, and yes now I am done.”

Yes you can angle the light and that is one of the advantages to them because they focus/highlight certain areas of your tank. To me I enjoy having different intensities of light and even shadows. I have never enjoyed a glass sun box look nor seeing sun spots after looking at someone's tank. There is a thread in another forum and there is talk about how dim tanks look and it seems that some believe that the LEDs are not doing their job because our eyes are not registering "brightness" yet others mention coral bleaching.
