Paracanthurus hepatus help!

You guys have this fish ((Paracanthurus hepatus)) for sale on your website from several locations:
Fiji
Solomon
Indian Ocean

I read that fish from one of these locations usually has a "yellow belly"

I do not want a yellow belly. Im pretty sure its the ones from the Indian Ocean but I am writing this post because I am not sure. Would you please confirm which location has the yellow belly variety before I order?

Also, have you ever had these fish in your Diver's Den before? I have seen the yellow belly offered on Divers Den but not the regular kind. Do you have the regular kind on divers den or is considered too common? If so, what would make it it suitable for DD? Brighter colors?

Thank you for your assistance.

ralphie,

The Paracanthurus hepatus without the yellow bellies are not typically offered on Diver’s Den as this fish is more common and can be ordered regularly here:

Blue Tang (Paracanthurus hepatus)

There is a very slim chance of receiving Paracanthurus hepatus (Regal Blue Tangs) with the yellow coloration from the Indian Ocean. The Regal Blue Tangs with the yellow bellies are considered to be more rare and will be offered in our Diver’s Den area only.

We are currently offering a Paracanthurus hepatus var. African yellow belly Regal Blue Tang on our Diver’s Den. Please check him out:

African Yellow Belly Regal Blue Tang

We hope this information is helpful. If you have further questions please feel free to contact us.
