Beautiful tank! I'm surprised you are able to keep sps without dosing alk/mag. Do you find that the carbon and weekly water changes are all you need? any secrets?

I do a weekly 5gal water change that keeps my calcium and mag in check. I topoff with kalk.

For the past few months I was using Seachem reef salt but I ran out around mid January and now I started using Red Sea Coral Pro.

Welp I just purchased an upgrade for my lighting. Found a lightly used radion g2 and it should arrive sometime next week. Looking forward to getting the light and hooking it up.

Thank you. I have no idea about the emerald crab eggs. Im guessing its not easy at all. One day the female would have them and then another day they were gone. Not sure what happened to them the several times she had them.
I currently have an oceanrevive led fixture. Not really expensive at all and an all around nice unit. I thought about getting a radion a few months ago and that thought kept bugging at me until I finally got one.
I am looking forward to getting the fixture as well.

The tank has been more lively since I added the wrasses as they are always swimming through the rocks and all over the tank. Its fun to watch the coris wrasse before the lights shut off completely at night as he always goes to his particular spot in the tank and burrows in the sand for the night.
My radion should get here sometime tomorrow so I am looking forward to getting it setup this weekend.

The radion arrived today and its already hooked up to the tank and running! Really great fixture so far.
