Parasite/Disease question

Velvet disease (Amyloodinium ocellatum) can kill rapidly, usually in a few days. Fish can be asymptomatic until it's too late.

+1 Also, a gram negative bacterial infection can kill within 24 hrs. Hard to tell the difference sometimes between that and a less serious gram positive.

Just lost a Blue Flasher Wrasse to a bacterial infection today. Noticed a whitish haze on his pectoral fin on Sunday, which got bigger yesterday. Dosed Maracyn Plus yesterday, but was too late. The infection spread from his fin to his body rapidly. Nasty stuff.
